Just the Chorale

One Footed Bride Tuning — A just-intonation system of my own. Chords tuned to whole-number frequency ratios drawn from a tonality diamond, found by simulated annealing and then threaded together with Viterbi optimisation. These are successive passes at the same idea, newest first — each refines the tuning search and the orchestration over the one before it.

A short-repeats pass after six episodes of heavy compute, 12 hours of annealing and Viterbi, to see if the chorale itself can be made to sound better. The answer is yes, but at the cost of a few cents of extra movement between adjacent chords.
